Du Toitskloof is inviting proposals until 13th April for a hospitality concept

Du Toitskloof Wines in search of Hospitality Partner.

  • Du Toitskloof Wines is a respected household brand supplying consistent quality across a variety of varietal options. Most notably, a market leader as a supplier of quality Sauvignon Blanc sourced from vines in and around Rawsonville-area.
  • Some years ago, it was decided to venture into the hospitality industry with a known and established Franchise group and just recently we decided to create something of our own (in partnership with your skill, knowledge and understanding).
  • We have a fully equipped restaurant with a seating capacity of 100 guests. Our kitchen has been planned with all the necessary requirements and amenities and the restaurant is fully furnished from table to teaspoon. In addition, we have a facility for smaller functions on the upper deck of the property (equipped with braai facilities and a seating capacity of between 60 to 80 guests.
  • We're opening submissions for proposals until the 13th of April in which you can draw up a hospitality concept that you would like to manage and partially own.

Your proposal should include:

  1. A complete business plan (fully operational working system, and use of current infrastructure that will ensure customer satisfaction and financial gain)
  2. We would like to see menu ideas with motivation, staffing requirements, event and/or function ideas.
  3. Finally, your proposal could also include possible interior/exterior development and layout changes.
  4. Du Toitskloof Wines desires a concept that will complement the winery, the tasting room and also support the Du Toitskloof Brand and associated Brand image.
  5. Du Toitskloof Wines will take on a supportive role in the partnership, whilst the candidate will be responsible for all operational management. Depending on the concept, our partnership and structure thereof is still negotiable.
  6. Non-negotiable items may include the following:
  • The restaurant must be owner-operated, open from Monday to Sunday.
  • The restaurant should merge seamlessly with all Du Toitskloof events, functions and initiatives.
  • The restaurant must be regarded as a destination which caters for families, tourists and people on the go.
