Land's End Syrah 2015 under the Top 10 for Alliances Du Monde 2018
Alliances du Monde is an international Wine and Barrel competition that award wines aged in oak barrels. Wineries from all over the world present their best premium oak-aged wines to the international panel. In 2018 our Land’s End Syrah 2015 was awarded Gold and rated as on of the Top 10 wines of the competition.
The international competition takes place in France every year, when wines are tasted blind by an expert and international panel of judges consisting of oenologists, wine stewards, retailers, grape growers, formally trained wine tasters, wine merchants, wine journalists, both men and women.
Each wine is tasted individually, not comparatively and on every day no more than 20 samples are presented to the tasters. The 6th edition of Alliances Du Monde competition saw 115 wine samples from 16 countries.
Land’s End Syrah 2015 was awarded Gold and chosen under the Top 10 wines presented. The wine has also been awarded the following:
2017 Michelangelo Gold
2018 IWSC Silver
2018 Platter’s Guide Score of 84 points
